25/26 WINTER CONSIGNMENT UPDATE
Winter gear intake begins September 16th! As we slowly transition the shop to full-winter mode, we’ll continue to accept fall items.Think lightweight layers, jackets, rain gear, vests, etc that are appropriate for cooler temps! Running, biking, hiking, camping, and bikepacking gear and clothing are popular fall items.
WINTER CONSIGNMENT GUIDELINES
Please note: Due to the increasing volume of winter gear we receive each year, we’re setting some limits so our small staff can keep up! Limit your drop offs to 10 ITEMS MAX per consignor PER DAY. Bring your best items! Make sure they are clean and ready to sell. Space out your drop-offs throughout the fall and winter - you’ll earn more since our prices drop every 30 days.
ALL ITEMS MUST BE:
- From reputable brands (like you’d find at MEC or REI)
- Clean, functional, and complete
- ~10 years old or newer (generally)
SKI/SNOWBOARD GEAR:
- Downhill skis & boots (8 years old or newer)
- All bindings must be indemnified
- Snowboards & boots (8 years old or newer)
- Alpine touring (AT) and splitboard gear (8 years old or newer)
- Cross country skis, boots, & poles (NNN or SNS systems only)
- Snowshoes
- Ski poles and goggles
- Shovels, probes, and other backcountry accessories
- Packs and ski/board bags
APPAREL:
- Snow jackets, pants & bibs
- Insulated jackets
- Midlayer tops and bottoms
- Baselayer tops and bottoms
- Winter hats, gloves, neck gaiters, and accessories
- Winter boots, waterproof hiking boots & trail runners
- Cool-weather lifestyle apparel
- Rain pants and jackets
OTHER CATEGORIES:
- Fall/winter sleeping bags and pads
- Packs and travel bags
- Outdoor literature: books, magazine & guidebooks
- Camp cooking and accessories
- Climbing & mountaineering equipment

GENERAL (YEAR-ROUND) CONSIGNMENT GUIDELINES
WHAT WE TAKE:
We accept gently used gear and clothing from reputable outdoor brands. We take summer gear from March to September, and winter gear from September to March. Items need to be: current <7-10 years for gear, <10 years for clothing (some wiggle room for vintage appeal); clean, complete, and in good or better condition (small repairs usually OK).
WHAT WE DON’T TAKE:
- Safety-related items (helmets, ropes, harnesses, avalanche transceivers, etc) or undergarments (padded bike shorts, socks, technical underwear) unless brand new in original packing
- Team sports or hockey equipment
- Department store brands
GEAR EXPECTATIONS:
- All items must be clean, complete, and fully functional - we want the new owner to be able to use them right away!
- Clothing, outerwear, and sleeping bags must be freshly laundered
- Items that are dirty, smelly, have broken zippers, unpatched tears/holes, or large stains are not eligible for consignment
PAYOUT PROCESS
How much do I make?
$1 - $150: 50% - 50% split
$151 - $300: 60% your way
$301 - $450: 70% your way
$451+: 80% your way
*The amount you earn is based on the selling price of each consigned item (i.e. a jacket priced at $100 = $50 to you)
When your items sell, funds go onto your account. Spend your credit in the shop like cash, or request a payout by e-transfer. Payouts are processed every Friday. Credit stays eligible for cash payout for up to 1 year after an item sells, after which, it becomes eligible for use as in-store credit only.
