Free Time Consignment is the West Kootenay’s hub to buy and sell high-quality, second-hand outdoor gear.

We believe the outdoors are a place where everyone belongs, and our goal is to make accessing outdoor spaces possible. We like to say that good gear is gear in use, and we can help you re-home the stuff you’re no longer using so it can go on to live another life (or two).

We switch stock with the seasons, and focus on equipment that is practical for recreation in the greater Kootenay region. Depending on the time of year, you’ll find gear and clothing for skiing, snowboarding, biking, hiking, camping, climbing, mountaineering, paddling, and more when you visit.

Find our shop in the beautiful brick building at the intersection of Baker St. and Ward St. downtown Nelson, BC.
